The University of Texas at Austin today announced the launch of the National Center for STEM Education, a new initiative designed to address persistent STEM teacher shortages and improve STEM education across Texas and the United States. 

The UTeach Institute partnered with the Bureau of Business Research at the IC² Institute to create an economic model to estimate the return on investment of Alabama’s UTeach programs over the next 10 years.
